Good job yesterday Steven Damron rescuing a family pet stuck in a drain pipe. Steven crawled in the tight space even though he said he's clausterphobic....making a family happy and brother firefighters proud of his courage! Weiner(dogs) everywhere are safe with him around!

My respect and thanks go out to all my fellow firefighters, police officers, and EMS workers for the job they do and did on 9-11-2001. And thanks to Steven and Sparky for helping me at the JMHS 9-11 memorial service. You guys are examples of the next generation of heros, serve with the example of those who died on 9-11 in mind.....

Our hearts are heavy with sadness at the loss of our friend and brother Mark Sturgill. Mark has climbed as high as he can now and we will honor his memory by climbing on the fire truck each time the alarm is sounded, just as Mark would expect us to. We won't say goodbye, Mark, just our usual "See you at the next one"......

Good job on all the last few calls guys. And a "game ball" should go to Junior Firefighter Tyler Branham for the great job he has done since joining our dept. The lad is in the service to help his community, not just for a badge and to get to ride the "big red trucks" If you know Tyler you know the physical problems he has, yet he's out busting "A" to help others. Tyler is a real hero and we're proud to call him a brother firefighter!
